My experience as a whole, probably one of my favourite stays at a hostel. Really warm and friendly team working there. I loved the vibe of the large kitchen area and adjoining dining/hangout area (there’s even more space upstairs too). Great location. Beds were comfortable, did not have curtains for extra privacy and that would be one of the very few negatives. Definitely would stay here again and annoyed that I stayed in a different hostel for my first few days in Adelaide

The shared dorms where a bit small although they have big lockers for each person inside the room. The kitchen, bathrooms and common areas were really nice and big. Perfect centre location.

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed at in Australia. The common areas are very spacious, the kitchens are large, and there is plenty of room for everyone. The fridges are repaired quickly when they break down. There are showers and toilets on every floor, and you can really feel the effort put into keeping these spaces clean. Backpackers can also request to stay longer than the two-week maximum indicated at reception, which makes it a great place to stay while completing your 88 days. The staff are very friendly. Special mention to Alessandro, who initiated the street cleaning effort, which I personally find very commendable. 👍

Great experience at YHA Adelaide! The rooms are big, the property is spotless, and the facilities are fantastic. Parking is available at a reasonable rate, and the staff are absolutely amazing. Highly recommended!

I've had a really great stay at YHA Adelaide, it's a quiet place with plenty of room, a nice kitchen, and in a convenient location near CBD. Everyone is lovely and welcoming at the reception. There is 2 things that could be upgrade in my ipinion : the bed, which are a bit noisy and shaking, and the showers which are not amazing. Otherwise everything was very nice. Thanks YHA team :)

I had a wonderful one-month stay at YHA Adelaide and couldn't be happier with my experience. Everything was absolutely fantastic. The staff were incredibly friendly, kind, and always willing to help, with great consideration and support for students. The facilities were excellent, especially the spacious and well-equipped kitchen. The location is perfect very close to the city and convenient for getting around Adelaide. I also stayed here with my family for part of my stay and had no concerns at all. The atmosphere was welcoming, clean, and felt like a home away from home. I will definitely be checking YHA Adelaide's availability whenever I travel to Adelaide again. Highly recommended for students, families, and anyone looking for a comfortable and friendly place to stay!
